A sample cooler is used to cool samples of boiler water, gas, or steam. The cooler consists of a stainless steel tube coil, through which the samples flow, and a stainless steel shell, through which cooling water flows in opposite direction. A mounting bracket is incorporated into both end caps. Usually these shells and caps are stainless steel. The sample cooler is usually available in a clamp adaptor for connecting to an industry standard ½" sanitary clamp fitting. Interested in a custom coil for this application?
